Some of these changes also impacted people's camping behavior. A steady rise in the percentage of campers who sometimes or always work while camping has been observed since 2019, and increased from 37% to 46% (including 50% of U.S. campers). In particular, this trend is being driven by millennials, with 57% working on their trips. The set of new campers is more likely than experienced campers to work on their trips, as well as those who live in urban areas, have children in the household and higher-income households.
