WE'LL GET YOU WHERE YOU WANT TO GO At the beginning of each state and province, you'll fi nd a detailed map with major cities and towns, interstates and highways – as well as KOA campgrounds – clearly marked. You can pinpoint exact locations with the help of the Cities and Towns Index on each map. The KOA Directory is the ONLY atlas you'll need for the U.S. and Canada. The small locator maps and directions that are attached to each campground listing will show you the best way to drive those last few miles, and the color photograph you'll see on some listings (a new feature!) will hopefully give you a taste of what to expect when you arrive. Be sure to follow our directions, and not stick strictly to those given by your GPS device, which may not take into account road closures, tight corners or overpass restrictions. When in doubt, call the campground. The green oval you'll see on some listings means that campground is new this year to the KOA system. The green oval you'll A FEW OF YOUR FAVORITE THINGS We've added handy icons to each campground's listing information, so you'll be able to see at a glance many of the features and amenities that KOA has to off er. Space doesn't permit us to list icons for everything available at each KOA, but we hope the icons – along with the KOA Journey, KOA Holiday and KOA Resort designations you'll fi nd on many KOAs – will help you pick the right campgrounds to fi t your needs. Don't forget to use the handy icon guide on the inside front cover of this Directory, as well as the descriptions of the KOA Journey, KOA Holiday and KOA Resort brands also found in the front of the book. NEW 40 Steamboat Springs Steamboat Springs-Bob Adams Field Stolport ® Y a m pa R i v e r 25 Steamboat Springs You won't find steamboats, but you will find natural hot springs in this scenic north- west Colorado mountain community (and in the area). This new KOA puts you in the heart of all the natural wonders you can experience here, from fishing or floating the trout-filled Yampa River to tackling the nearby slopes of Mt. Werner at Steamboat Ski Resort. World-class hiking and mountain biking trails wind through the surrounding mountains. Enjoy the heated pool, mini golf and other activities at the campground. Then hop on the free bus or grab a rental bike and cruise along the bike paths to downtown, just three miles south. A true Western ranching town, Steamboat Springs charms with unique galleries and shows, dining and even a pioneer museum.
