It's just of I-40, halfway between Elk City and Clinton. This is Route 66 country, and both towns have museums dedicated to the Mother Road. From the campground, it's a short walk to Clinton Lake for sand bass and crappie fshing. You're 11 miles from Foss Lake, also known for bass fshing. Lucky Star Casino and two great golf courses are within a 15-minute drive. Visit Staford Air & Space Museum or Washita Battlefeld National Historic Site, both within an hour's drive.
