Take a rest from your travels at this beautiful, clean and quiet park. Ninety minutes from Denver and Colorado Springs along I-70, the campground is at the crossroads of several highways. Visit Limon Railroad Park or relax in this gracious community. Let the staf help you with your plans to tour Colorado. Enjoy the playground, bike rentals and swimming pool (seasonal). An activity room can be rented as a meeting room for groups and summer pancake breakfasts. Pets are welcome. Even your horse will enjoy its stay at the KOA Corral. Costumed interpreters wel- come you to the reconstructed adobe-walled trading post. In La Junta, the Koshare Indian Museum houses an impressive collection of Native American art/ artifacts. A half hour south, Picketwire Canyon features the largest known trackway of dinosaur footprints in North America. KOA's country setting is within walking dis- tance of restaurants and shopping. Pick up souvenirs or a snack at the campground store. Cool of in the pool or relax in the rec room, where you can read, watch TV or play pool, cards and games. Take advantage of the air-conditioned laundry room and restrooms. Groups enjoy the large meeting room and use of the full kitchen. Mom, Dad, children and dogs will enjoy camping on the 100% grass-covered sites. Unique to the West, this KOA has an abundance of water to provide green grass for camping. Take of your shoes and enjoy the blades between your toes. Blue Mesa Reservoir, the largest body of water in Colorado, is so close you can feel the fi shing and water recreation from 8 miles away. Children and adults will enjoy the weekend petting zoo. Fish, bike, hike, raft and shop within minutes of this quiet campground.
